High-quality lighting of a sports hall is one of the foundations for creating quality conditions for athletes and the sporting public. Sports tournaments and official sporting events are unique events in terms of lighting. This is where there is room for a professional approach, as it is important to take into account the many specifics placed on the lighting of the sports area. Great satisfaction with the lighting of the sports hall in Prague – Štěrboholy, where the 2017 European Junior Badminton Championships were held from 21 to 29 November 2017, was expressed by the organisers and participants of this competition.

The lighting of the hall, which met the strict criteria of international regulations, was provided for the Czech Badminton Association by HDT Impex, s.r.o. with LED-SOLAR luminaires.

Also on the basis of this success, the LED-SOLAR design team is preparing a new set of original luminaires for 2018, designed for interior and exterior illumination of sports grounds.
