The great interest in the observation tower, which was built above Nový Štrbské pleso by the Tatra hotelier Karol Móry, prompted his heir Ján Móry in 1935 to build a new brick building, which replaced the original wooden observation tower.
Over the next decades, an extension was added to this national cultural monument, which expanded the possibilities of providing services for visitors to the High Tatras.

Comfort and convenience

The generous investment of the new owners of the Móry observation tower was not only the reconstruction of the tower itself, but also the extension, on the roof of which a large terrace was created, which, in addition to fantastic views, provides various other possibilities for relaxation, gastronomy, or organizing various types of social events.

What the owners and architects were able to design and implement in the hinterland deserves great admiration.
In addition to public facilities, the extension has managed to accommodate three unusually tastefully designed apartments, which, in combination with wood and stone and other high-quality materials, will withstand the strictest aesthetic criteria.

The atmosphere of these luxurious spaces is also underlined by the light scenes of the interior lighting, which consists of unique wooden chandeliers and built-in lighting of the tiles and custom-made furniture.

The investors asked LED-SOLAR, s.r.o. to develop and produce a series of ceiling lamps required by the architects, made of solid wood that matches the decor of the individual apartments.

Custom-made production is not a cheap hobby, but in this case, unique wooden lamps made an unmistakable contribution to the overall atmosphere of the apartments.

Custom-made wooden chandeliers

Despite the fact that the lamps will attract attention primarily with their wooden decor, each model was designed while respecting strict technical rules for the construction of lamps.

The massive LED WoodBeam G1 chandeliers with full-area radiation are designed for installation in living rooms and halls, while the LED WoodParallel G1 luminaire with lower and upper radiation is mainly intended for installation above tables and coffee tables. The tasteful LED WoodFrame G1 luminaire is particularly suitable for bedrooms above bedside tables and in relaxation areas.
The series of interior LED luminaires in wooden bodies from LED-SOLAR, s.r.o. is closed by the LED WoodDown G1 luminaire designed for attachment to the ceiling.
