For the new lighting of the production halls and warehouses of KOVUM, s.r.o., Závažná Poruba is realized by modern LED technology. The company's representatives confidently accepted the offer of LED-SOLAR, s.r.o. from Prešov, the manufacturer of LED-SOLAR luminaires. Tested LED luminaires designed for industrial lighting became the basis of the new lighting system. The reconstruction of the lighting of the production areas is carried out in gradual steps and is divided into several stages.

The LED luminaires of the LED Street SII group stand out due to their robust construction. The luminaire body made of aluminium alloy with numerous ribs allows efficient cooling of the LED modules. This significantly extends the lifetime of the LED luminaire and increases its reliability. The quality of the LED Street SII luminaire also lies in the use of top-quality components from renowned world manufacturers. LEDs of the American manufacturer CREE are implemented on high quality aluminium joints. The luminaire's optical system is provided by the use of products from the Finnish company LEDiL, which is a world leader in the production of optical systems. Depending on the circumstances or customer requirements, electronic ballasts of global brands Tridonic or Mean Well are installed. The key to the design of LED-SOLAR luminaires is the emphasis on high quality and product reliability.

Industrial lighting - implementation

The main objective of the design of the new lighting system in the production halls is to meet the company management's requirement for increased safety of employees at work and a high level of lighting intensity in the production areas. The lower limit for lighting parameters is always a valid regulation - standard for LED-SOLAR designers. In case of higher requirements from the investor's side, the prepared solution of the lighting system is subordinated to these requirements, taking into account the principles of proper lighting.

The reconstruction of the lighting of the production areas was extremely important for the representatives of KOVUM. That is why they decided for a superior solution, which they implemented on the basis of the design department of LED-SOLAR. The lighting of production halls and warehouses was built on the first generation of high-performance LED Industry luminaires. These LED luminaires brought high quality metal production lighting, safety at work, energy and operating cost savings. The refurbishment of the warehouse lighting contributed to increased safety when handling stored materials and parts.
