Many Slovak employers have in mind to improve the working conditions of their employees. The portable LED luminaire from LED-SOLAR helps to increase the comfort of work during repair work in garages. The lighting of assembly pits has been a long-standing problem at the National Motorway Company, a.s.. Therefore, they decided to solve them radically.

The unsatisfactory situation with the availability of suitable lighting was eliminated by deploying new portable LED luminaires. These were developed and manufactured directly according to the requirements of car mechanics from the National Motorway Company, a.s. in the Prešov plant LED-SOLAR, s.r.o. According to the assignment, a highly durable luminaire with a high luminous flux intensity had to be developed. Mechanical strength, resistance to impact or water and dust penetration are the main advantages characteristic for the newly developed work luminaire.

Portable LED luminaire - construction

The result is a water- and dust-resistant work lamp with a solid aluminium construction with high variability for mounting or positioning the lamp according to the nature of the required vehicle repair. The high rigidity of the luminaire and the use of solid polycarbonate protect the luminaire from the effects of drops and possible mechanical damage.

The portable LED luminaire is positionable. Using the U-bracket, it can not only be firmly mounted, but can also be hung, placed or fixed using the installed industrial magnets. Thanks to the long power cable, this product can also be used for various repair jobs and installations in the vehicle cabin.

Maintenance requirements are almost zero. If the covering polycarbonate gets dirty, a simple wipe with a dry cloth or a wash with water and non-aggressive detergent is sufficient.

Usage

Lighting of assembly pits or other areas has become an easy and routine matter at several maintenance centres of the National Motorway Company, a.s. A portable LED luminaire is now a common and frequently used part of the workshop equipment.

High-quality lighting in demanding conditions is the first prerequisite for high-quality employee performance. At the same time, the risk of accidents at work is also reduced and, last but not least, it brings high savings in electricity costs in any operation. However, the portable LED luminaire can also be successfully used in other areas such as construction, industry and so on.
